September 16th is the deadline to submit films and projects to the 2019 edition of Torino Short Film Market, organized by the Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio (Italian Short Film Center) in collaboration with Museo Nazionale del Cinema – Torino Film Festival, that will be held in Turin from the 21st to the 23rd of November 2019.
Last year's edition of the TSFM, where anyone who made or wants to make a short film can find a co-producer, a distributor or a buyer, gathered 450 producers, filmmakers and distributors from 36 countries. Thus, Torino Short Film Market confirmed itself as the most important Italian industry event dedicated to short films , as well as one of the most significant in Europe.
“The Torino Short Film Market is a growing event for professionals - says Jacopo Chessa, director of the Italian Short Film Center - Indeed it has recently won the bid of Creative Europe - MEDIA sub-Programme Access to Markets. In 2019, only the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the TSFM received this support in the short film industry. This recognition is a further incentive to improve our support to the international short film system.”
